Job description: As a truck driver within our clients, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations within the Netherlands and surrounding regions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Your activities will be:

• Operate and drive trucks safely and in compliance with traffic rules and regulations

• Load and unload goods onto the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo, with the help of the Expedition team

• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery, considering factors such as traffic and weather conditions

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues or maintenance needs

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays encountered

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or changes

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods and addressing customer inquiries or concerns

• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations Requirements:

• You speak English

• You have at least one year of experience as a truck driver

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws in the Netherlands and surrounding regions.

• You are in possession of a valid driving license type CE or CE1

• You are in possession of a valid code 95 (still valid for at least 1 year)

• You have a flexible attitude

• You will be working for a longer period of time
